Personal made Public

These are the photographs of the tattoos I drew and then transferred to my body. It was quite a difficult process because at first I intended on just buying some temporary tattoo paper that you can put in your printer and then just print onto. However after some research I found that the paper was almost £10 for 2 sheets and there were really bad reviews for most of the products available. So instead I had to get carbon paper, draw over the designs then transfer them onto the body and then draw over them in eyeliner. Some ended up coming out better than others, it really was a case of trial and error but I think the photo's look really cool and portray what I initially intended which was to have all these images of people personal to me on my body so they're on show to the public. I think it's interesting now that I've done it that I still chose to do just family and friends and not things that are symbolic or really personal to me like beliefs, fears, likes and dislikes etc. Which I didn't actually think about until after I'd taken these photos. So I think I'd like to continue it and try doing some drawings even more personal to myself and could cover more of the body. Also to put more time into the arrangment and how they all fit together.
